Marko Jaric: Not Engaged to Adriana Lima … Yet

Minnesota Timberwolves star Marko Jaric is “over the moon” about his new love, Victoria’s Secret supermodel Adriana Lima. But don’t believe celebrity gossip that he’s shopping for engagement rings. At least not yet.

The couple have been dating for the last six months, but Marko Jaric says he was perplexed by recent celebrity news sites’ reports talking about him checking out local jewelry stores for a rock for Adriana Lima.

“I am not shopping right now,” the 29-year-old Serbian Sensation said.

“But I could start tomorrow. I am that close. I’m definitely not yet engaged, but it doesn’t mean we’re not thinking about it.”

When the time comes, however, the entire process may come as a surprise.

“I would rather keep that my own secret,” says Marko Jaric, who averages a pedestrian 7.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game career.

“It’s a life decision … a private thing.”

Jaric admits he’s not normally such a romantic, but being with a Brazilian supermodel like Adriana Lima has changed him. Funny how that will do it.

“I was not the person to fall in love easily. I am a difficult person from that standpoint,” he says. “Now, it’s a little different situation.”

Just give it time. This guy is so smitten it’s not even funny. In a few months these two will be engaged just like Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge.

Despite reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedded in a New Orleans church Saturday, a source close to the couple tells was "no wedding."

The family spent a weekend in New Orleans two weeks ago – as Pitt broke ground on his Make It Right project to help rebuild the city's Lower Ninth Ward – but they have recently been in the Austin, Texas, area while Pitt films Tree of Life with Sean Penn.

Jolie, who stars in the action film Wanted, opening in June, is pregnant and due later this year.

Miley Cyrus Avoids Slime But Wins Kids' Choice Awards

Miley Cyrus had slime on her mind Saturday at Nickelodeon's 2008 annual Kids Choice Awards.

The teen superstar begged not to get showered with the green stuff while she accepted the award for Favorite Female Singer (she also won for Favorite TV Actress). "I don't want to get slimed but I am glad to be here," she told the screaming crowd.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull star Harrison Ford, who presented the award for Favorite Voice for an Animated Movie, got the green stuff dumped on him instead, adding his name to the list of slimmed celebrities, which includes Justin Timberlake, Nicole Kidman, Pink and Johnny Depp.

Later in the night, Cyrus was back on stage to rock the house with her tune, "Girls Night Out."

Jack Black showed off several green outfits while playing host, but Jessica Alba, who took home the award for Favorite Movie Actress, outshined him in a deep green gown.

Cameron Diaz said winning the Wannabe Award was even better than winning the Big Burp Award, which she took home a previous year. "Oh wow. And when I say wow, I mean, Wow!" she said. "This is the biggest honor in my entire life."

Things got messy when Heidi Klum used darts to burst green slime balloons that filled the Mighty Slime Vat with a record-breaking amount of the oozing green stuff, which eventually ended up all over Black and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl star Orlando Bloom in a climactic ending to the show.

Eliot Spitzer’s New Kristen: Kristin “Billie” Davis

Today’s New York Post links former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer to Wicked Models, a second high-priced prostitution ring busted this week.

Three weeks ago Spitzer stepped down as governor after being tied to Emperors Club VIP. His spokeswoman denies he was a “Wicked” client.

Based in midtown Manhattan, Wicked Models was run by a buxom blonde named Kristin “Billie” Davis, who also saw clients as a hooker herself.

The ex-governor regularly patronized Wicked Models according to financial documents and evidence unearthed in a yearlong prostitution investigation.

Kristin “Billie” Davis, 32, is presently being held on $2 million bail after entering a plea of not guilty to charges of promoting prostitution and money laundering.

A source said that Davis - not to be confused with Sex and the City star Kristin Davis, or with Kristen, the alias by which the disgraced politician knew Ashley Alexandra Dupre, now a household name - personally serviced Spitzer.

“She personally interfaced with Spitzer a number of times” since 2003, before she became a madam, a source close to Kristin “Billie” Davis said.

When asked about the allegation, Davis told The New York Post, “I can’t talk about it.” Spitzer’s spokeswoman, who has all the credibility in the world at this point, said that “Mr. Spitzer was not ever a client of Ms. Davis.”

Wicked Models is rumored to a have a high-profile client list full of athletes and politicians. The New York Daily News reports:

Investigators pored over the little black book of an alleged midtown madam whose clients are rumored to include athletes and powerhouse politicians.

Kristin Davis, the busty bottle-blond accused of running a $1,600-an-hour call girl service, has been jailed on $2 million bail after pleading not guilty to promoting prostitution and money laundering.

“Any time she got her hands on someone worth bragging about, she might have kept a memento,” said Jason Itzler, the self-proclaimed King of All Pimps, who claims Davis worked for him in 2004. “She was a rock star escort.”

Davis’ attorney blames Eliot Spitzer, indirectly, for her arrest.

According to the New York Times:

As Kristin Davis, wearing a black hooded jacket emblazoned with rhinestones in the shape of a flaming skull, stood in front of a judge, her lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, said that she was “clothed with the cloak of innocence.”

She pleaded not guilty.

Heller added that his client believed she was being unfairly “persecuted” because the recent investigation into former Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s use of prostitutes had created a fervor about call-girl operations.

Wicked Models promised clients Ivy League educated women and employed dozens of prostitutes. Its website is no longer in service, but touted:

“Wicked Models is home to some of the most beautiful women in the world. We represent many different types of companions…”

That’s Mario, the R&B singer who uses only his first name (real name Mario Dewar Barrett), and not Mario Lopez, former Saved By the Bell Star.

Karina Smirnoff is partnering with the former on Dancing With the Stars this season. Three seasons ago, she partnered with Mario Lopez.

Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff fell in love and are still dating as a result of that season of Dancing With the Stars. All caught up?

The DWTS pro and certified cutie responded this week to rumors that she is hooking up with her current partner, the R&B singer Mario.

“We have a completely professional relationship,” Karina Smirnoff said. “I have a lot of respect for Mario. He is a great person.”

The New York Post reported this week that the current DWTS iteration of Mario and Karina were “making out by the valet with their hands all over each other” at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles. Juicy gossip!

Mario’s rep denies the claim, saying “this did not happen.”

But a source close to the talented singer insists “there is definitely chemistry and a flirtation between the two.” Then again, it is dancing.

The Donald Wants Ashley Dupré! (For His New Reality Show)

An insider at Donald Trump’s newly announced My Fair Lady-style MTV reality show tells infamous call girl Ashley Alexander Dupré has been asked to join the cast.

The still-untitled show, produced by Donald Trump Productions (and referred to in some press reports as “Lady or a Tramp”) was picked up by MTV for eight hour-long episodes. Based on a British show called Ladette to Lady, the show will take a group of 15 hard-partying young women and send them off to a boarding school environment where they’ll learn to become more ladylike.

“She’s the perfect candidate,” the show insider says of Dupré, the 22-year-old at the center of the Gov. Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal. The show has not yet heard back from Dupré with any reaction to the offer.

Donald Trump could not immediately be reached for comment.

The Donald has had some experience reforming hard-partying young women in the past, of course. He famously sent Miss USA Tara Conner to rehab and gave her a “second chance” to keep her crown in December of 2006

Jamie Lynn Spears took another step toward marriage and motherhood Thursday – registering for gifts at Babies R Us.

Spears, who turns 17 on April 4, drove 80 miles to Baton Rouge from her home at the Serenity mansion in Kentwood, La., was reportedly accompanied by her cousin, and, "somebody called ahead to say they were coming in," a source told

Reportedly flashing an engagement ring on her left hand, Spears also was sporting a shirt that read "The Rumors Are True" as she and her cousin both registered for gifts at the store, according to sources.

Casey Aldridge, 18, the baby's father, is listed as her "co-registrant" and the "event date" listed is July 10. Spears added the message: "Thank you for supporting us during this special time."

The Zoey 101 star's choices ranged from a $1.49 teething ring to a $300 car seat. Other requests include an ultrasound frame, a Cookie Monster bath towel and a Baby Neptune Ocean Gym. Spears was careful not to select any pink or blue items, instead opting for sage-green terry cloth changing-pad covers and receiving blankets decorated with Disney characters such as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

Katie Holmes Heading to Broadway?

Is Katie Holmes preparing to swap playdates for the Great White Way? Britain's Daily Mail newspaper reports that she's in talks for a role on Broadway.

Respected showbiz writer Baz Bamigboye reports that Holmes is "in final negotiations" to make her professional stage debut in a revival of All My Sons, Arthur Miller's heartbreaking, post-World War II family drama.

While the Mail reports the actress has committed to participating in a workshop of the play in May, a rep for Holmes tells she is in discussions but also says, "nothing is set."

If she does take the role, Holmes would play a woman who visits the family of her former lover, a missing pilot. It would be her first play since high school and Holmes would be on stage six nights a week.

Corinne Bailey Rae Appreciates Fans' Sympathy

British soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae, whose husband, saxophonist Jason Rae, was found dead in the couple's home last weekend, has issued a statement expressing her gratitude to those who have extended their sympathy.

Though her manager, Bob Miller, it was stated, "Corinne Bailey Rae and her family have been touched by the huge amount of love and support that's flooded in from all over the world, and that is really helping all of us cope at this terrible time.

"Corinne is also very grateful for the privacy she is being given and the respect that has been paid to herself and Jason."

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said that on Saturday afternoon officers were called to the Raes' apartment in Leeds, England, where they found Rae, 31, already dead.

In connection with the case, a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs. He was subsequently released on bail, according to police.

An inquest into the death began on Thursday.

In addition to prayers being posted online, the singer's record company also sent a message of condolences.

Bailey Rae, 29, met her husband in a Leeds jazz club, where she worked as a coat-room attendant. They wed in 2001.

Kim Kardashian & Reggie Bush 'Know What's Important'

Want to know the hardest part about maintaining a relationship with Kim Kardashian? She thinks it's putting up with the paparazzi.

Kardashian, 27, admits to SI.com that her boyfriend, New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush, 23, hates the pesky paps but is managing to cope – just as she's learning about football.

"We try to be super low key," Kardashian tells the Extra Mustard column. "We know if we go to an event, we're gonna be photographed, but he'll still say 'ugh, I don't want to go.' "

Besides, she says, "He really only gets annoyed when we're out and about and we get followed."

Part of the Job

Since part of Kardashian's job – starring on the second season of her reality show, Keeping up with the Kardashians – is being trailed by cameras, she says they've kept his involvement in the show to a minimum.

"He's such a big part of my life that you can't not be on the show if you're in my life," she says. "I'm glad we filmed the show during his season, because he was only on every now and then."

As for her supporting his career, she reveals the sport is new to her. "I'm a Saints fan and I'm a Reggie fan. I'm just becoming a football fan," she says. And she doesn't mind that the gridiron is his No. 1 priority.

"I definitely think we get along because my work is so important to me right now and football is so important to him," she says. "We both know what's important."

Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff is brushing off rumors of a romance with her partner, R&B singer Mario.

The New York Post’s Page Six reports Smirnoff — who has been dating her former DWTS partner Mario Lopez — was spotted kissing the other Mario at a Mercedes-Benz Oscar viewing party at Four Seasons hotel in Los Angeles in February.

But Smirnoff is laughing off the speculation. “I told you to keep it on the DL, dude,” she joked with Mario when asked about the rumors after Monday’s show. Continued Smirnoff: “Did you keep that window open? By the end of the show, I will be pregnant with Mario’s baby!”

Mario, 21, added of Smirnoff, 30, “I love this woman! I love her personality! I’ve grown to love the person that she is, and you should feel that way about your partner!” Responded Smirnoff: “Is that all it is?”

A rep for Mario (the singer) says: “They’re not dating.”

And a source close to both of the dance partners says that Smirnoff’s relationship with Mario Lopez, 34, is still going strong. “They’re totally boyfriend and girlfriend,” the source tells PEOPLE. “They went out to Eva Longoria’s restaurant [Beso] opening together.”

Instead, the source attributes the romance rumors to the dance partners’ chemistry. Says the source: “They have fun together.”

Miley Cyrus isn't frantic to find a boyfriend, but that doesn’t mean the Hannah Montana star doesn't check out eye candy online.

Denying rumors that she's been searching the Net for a new beau, Cyrus, 15, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM show, "I'm not that desperate yet" – but she did joke that she "might go on the Abercrombie [& Fitch] Web site" every once in a while for a good look.

Cyrus also came clean on sometimes thinking of ways to punk the paparazzi Ashton Kutcher-style. Calling the frenzy that surrounds her "pretty insane," Cyrus said photographers just sit outside her house all day.

Asked about reports that the paps have more interest in her than they do in Britney Spears, modest Miley almost sounded apologetic, telling Seacrest, "I kinda I feel bad, 'cause I'm a lot more boring than Britney Spears. We don't do anything. We just go to Coffee Bean."

• He may be a hard rocker, but the Velvet Revolver's Slash admits to having a soft spot for some contemporary R&B and rap music – along the lines of Rihanna's "Umbrella." Also, "There's a song by Kanye West called 'Stronger' that I like. That's a great riff, and would have made a great rock record. You might not think it, but I can hear through it." With encouragement like that, West is bound to go far.

• Rapper Remy Ma (real name: Remy Smith) faces up to 25 years in prison after being convicted of assault, weapons possession and coercion after shooting a woman in the stomach while arguing over $3,000 last year, Reuters reports. Smith's attorneys argued the shooting was accidental.

• Illness has brought the postponement of the Allman Brothers Band's stand of shows at New York's Beacon Theatre this year. According to reports, Gregg Allman has been recovering from treatments for Hepatitis C and needs more time before taking the stage again. Show promoter Live Nation promises the shows will be rescheduled.

Paris Hilton Belly Dances in Turkey

Paris Hilton shook what her mama gave her in Turkey on Thursday, when she got onstage during the Miss Turkey 2008 contest in Istanbul, where she was a jury member helping to judge the contestants.

In a YouTube video, the heiress is seen twirling, clapping and shaking her hips along with a Turkish belly dancer. Hilton gamely follows along with the other dancer, but looks slightly relieved to get back to her seat at the end of the number.

Before the contest Hilton, 27, told Reuters, "This is my first time judging anything like this. I'm going to look at how the girls carry themselves, what they look like, the way they dress and what they say."

Behar to Barack: 'Are You Related to Brad Pitt?'

Joy Behar got right to the heart of the matter that could ultimately decide the election.

"I understand," Behar said to presidential candidate Barack Obama, "that you’re related to Brad Pitt, in some way."

What The View host – who, along with her colleagues, welcomed the Democratic Illinois U.S. senator to the ABC daytime show Friday – was referring to was a claim by the New England Historic Genealogical Society that Pitt and Obama are distant cousins, linked by one Edwin Hickman, who died in Virginia in 1769.

"Are you related to Brad Pitt?" pressed Behar, according to clips provided by ABC.

"I guess we're ninth cousins, something, removed – or something," said Obama, 46, adding modestly, "I think he got the better-looking side of the gene pool."

The comment prompted the show's matriarch, Barbara Walters, to tell the senator: "We were saying just before you came out – maybe we shouldn't say this. But we thought you were very sexy looking."

'Skinny, But Tough'

Behar also asks if Obama is tough enough to withstand the rigorous attacks that can come in a presidential campaign.

Says Behar, "When John Kerry was running for office, I said to him, in a similar situation, ... 'John, are you going to be able to withstand the attack machine on the Republican side?' ... And he said yes. And then he was Swift-boated. And, as you can see, he's not our president."

"I noticed," replies Obama.

"I ask you the same question," says Behar. "How tough are ya?"

"You know, I'm a pretty tough – I'm skinny but I'm tough."

After the audience laughter subsides, he says, "I think that the way to handle attacks, wherever they're coming from – and, you know, there've been some tough punches thrown in this Democratic primary ... – the way I like to handle attacks is to answer honestly, swiftly, forcefully and truthfully. I think the truth is a powerful weapon."

Controversial Pastor

The show's Elisabeth Hasselbeck also asks about controversial remarks delivered by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor of 20 years, who railed in a sermon that America is responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

"It was a snippet of a man," Obama replies. "I think he's saddened by what's happened, and I told him I feel badly that he has been characterized just in this one way – and people haven't seen this broader aspect of him."

JC Chasez Calls Chace Crawford Rumors 'Annoying'

Former 'N Sync star JC Chasez says he's sick of online speculation that he and Chace Crawford are more than friends.

"You know what, it's laughable the first time," he told the live finale of Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew. "I think the tenth time, it gets annoying."

Chasez and Gossip Girls star – most recently linked to Carrie Underwood – have been spotted together a lot recently (from Elton John's post-Oscar bash to the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel this past weekend) – prompting talk of a possible romance.

"I don't care about [people's] assumptions or anything, but when people outright lie, that's wrong," said Chasez. "So I think that part of the rumor is outright stupid."

The 31-year-old – who previously dated Eva Longoria – added, "The fact of the matter is I'm a straight guy and I'm allowed to have [guy] friends."

Lindsay Lohan to Star in Charles Manson Movie

First Mark David Chapman, and now this! Lindsay Lohan, fresh off her big-screen role opposite John Lennon's killer (aka the chubby Jared Leto) in Chapter 27, has signed up to star in another film about a murderer – this time, it's Charles Manson.

Lohan, 21, will play one of Manson's cult followers, Nancy Pitman, in the movie Manson Girls, E! Online reports. The site quotes the film's producer, Brad Wyman, as saying, "Yes, I am doing it with Lindsay."

The actress has been busy back at work since her departure from rehab last fall. She's also recording a new album and will costar in an upcoming Jack Black movie, Ye Olde Times.

But as she recently told , she doesn't see this as a "comeback." "I think this is what I love to do," she said. "I'm just continuing to do it – in the right ways."

Dennis Quaid: 'Happy Ending' After Twins's Medical Scare

The joys of being a new dad are especially sweet for Dennis Quaid, whose four-month-old twins survived a near-fatal drug overdose while hospitalized late last year.

"It's the greatest thing to hold those kids and see their faces because we had a happy ending," he told . "It's great be a normal dad with the normal problems of not having enough hands for both of them."

The 53-year-old actor and his wife Kimberly, 36, welcomed twins Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace on Nov. 8. (The babies were born via gestational carrier). But later that month, the two were accidentally given a massive overdose of the blood thinner Heparin while hospitalized at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center – and spent days battling for their lives.

"I do have a greater appreciation of life in general," said Quaid, who spoke about his harrowing ordeal and the widespread problem of medical errors at the opening session of the Association of Health Care Journalists's annual conference in Washington, D.C. on Thursday. "If they hadn't made it, it really would have changed my life. But they did survive. So it changed my attitude."

Campaigning for Change

State regulators fined Cedars-Sinai $25,000 last week for giving the overdoses to the Quaid twins and another newborn.

The Quaids – who are launching a foundation aimed at reducing the number of medical mistakes – have also filed a lawsuit against Heparin's drug maker, Baxter Healthcare Corp., accusing it of negligence in packaging adult and pediatric doses in similar vials.

Human error in hospitals "is one of the leading causes of death in our country, [greater] than automobile accidents, breast cancer or AIDS," Quaid – accompanied by his 15-year-old son Jack, whose mom is Meg Ryan – told the audience.

"Yet because they happen one case at a time, they tend to slip under the public radar unless you're a celebrity," he explained. "Because it happened to my family, it was all over the national news. I realized we have an opportunity to raise public awareness about this."

So how are Zoe and Boone doing now? "Fantastic," he said. Adding jokingly, “Their progress and their development appears to be completely normal – aside from being a Quaid."

Celine Dion Postpones Australian Concerts

Her heart may go on – but the show will not.

A throat infection has forced Celine Dion to cancel a string of shows in Australia, Reuters reported Friday.

"Her doctor has instructed her to rest for an additional 48 hours in order to be fully recovered," publicists for Dion, 39, said in a statement.

The infection had already forced the songstress to postpone shows in Melbourne and Brisbane. Now she’s also delaying her two concerts in Sydney and one in Perth.

The multi-Grammy winner is in Australia as part of her first world tour in 10 years. The Canadian-born diva recently finished a nearly 5-year stint at Las Vegas’s Caesars Palace.

Poison Drummer Arrested on Rape Charge

Police arrested Rikki Rockett, drummer for the glam rock band Poison, on a rape warrant out of Mississippi after he touched the ground at Los Angeles Airport after a flight from New Zealand, reports the Los Angeles Daily News.

Officers from the LAPD's Airport Division seized the 46-year-old former hairdresser and lifeguard (real name: Richard Ream) as he was going through customs on Monday and then transported him to L.A. County Jail.

Officials there booked him on a felony fugitive sexual assault warrant out of Neshoba County, Miss. Information about the warrant and specific charges was not immediately available. Neither were details of Rockett's current whereabouts.

The drummer had been in New Zealand to reunite and perform with other original members of the band at Rock2Wellington, a heavy metal show. He formed the group in the '80s with high school pal Bret Michaels.

Madonna Will Sing 'Like A Virgin' – For $30 Million

She may be heading out on tour in the fall – but don't expect to hear Madonna sing some of her biggest hits ever again.

"I'm not sure I can sing 'Holiday' or 'Like A Virgin' ever again," the singer tells New York's Z100-FM in an interview scheduled to air Friday. "I just can't – unless somebody paid me like $30 million or something. [Like if] some Russian guy wants me to come to the wedding he's going to have to a 17-year-old, you know it."

As she prepares to release her latest album, Hard Candy, on April 29, Madonna also opens up about the music business ("Playing live is not something that people focus on very much," she says) and why she gave Justin Timberlake that now-infamous B-12 shot in the rear end.

When The Hills returned Monday, Spencer Pratt traveled to Colorado to try and mend his relationship with Heidi Montag — only to be told she needed “space.” Well, judging from their visit to Las Vegas on Wednesday, space is exactly what she got.

Sources at various casinos tell not only did the couple stay in different rooms, they’re actually in different hotels. Montag is staying at the Palazzo and Pratt has checked into the Hard Rock.

“Yes it is true,” a rep tells . ‘”They are working on their relationship … They were there filming The Hills.”

While in Vegas working on the show, the on-again, off-again couple was spotted arguing for the cameras at the Palazzo’s Dos Caminos restaurant. When the camera’s stopped rolling on multiple occasions, Pratt left the restaurant while Montag stayed behind, hanging out with Los Angeles club promoter and her Hills boss Brent Bolthouse.

Interaction on and off-camera was limited between the two. During his downtime, Pratt kept clear of Montag, taking in a mixed martial arts fight at Hard Rock and later having dinner with his sister Stephanie at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT Steakhouse.

Meanwhile, Audrina Patridge will be in Las Vegas Friday to host the Pussycat Dolls show at Pure Nightclub.

Kimora Lee Files for Divorce from Russell Simmons

Kimora Lee Simmons filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Russell Simmons, in Los Angeles County Superior Court Tuesday.

The couple announced that they had split up in March 2006, but said they had already been separated "for some time."

In court papers, Kimora, 32, cites irreconcilable differences and asks for legal and physical custody of the couple's two daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. She requests that Simmons, 50, get "reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children's nanny and security personnel.

At the time of their initial separation in 2006, Simmons said in a statement: "Kimora and I will remain committed parents and caring friends with great love and admiration for each other."

Kimora has been dogged recently by rumors that she is expecting a child with boyfriend Djimon Hounsou. At an appearance in Chicago earlier this month, she told reporters. "I'm in the paper every single week – that I had a fight with my ex-husband, or that I was mad at one of his girlfriends, or that I'm pregnant, or that I demand Fiji water … Lies upon lies upon lies."

David Beckham Plays Historic Soccer Match

Soccer star David Beckham represented the England national soccer team Wednesday night for the 100th time, becoming only the fifth player ever to reach the triple figure.

Beckham, 32, took to the field in Paris at the beginning of the game around 9 p.m. local time, making his 100th appearance for England. Beckham wore golden boots to mark the game, which was againt France.

"David was so excited to play," a close pal tells . "He is still enthusiastic and has a great passion for playing for his country."

Around 38 minutes into the match Beckham received a yellow card warning for an infraction against the French team. At 62 minutes, with France leading 1-0, Beckham and his golden boots were substituted by the team manager.

At the end of the game, which France won 1-0, Beckham came back out onto the field to applaud the fans.

"Only four players have ever achieved this playing milestone before," says the pal. "It's an historic moment becoming the fifth English player to do it. It's an incredible honor."

The entire Beckham clan was expected to celebrate in Paris with a private dinner for the family after the match. But the soccer star is already looking ahead to the next game.

"His first match of the new season for Los Angeles Galaxy will be on Saturday, in Denver," says the pal. "It's back to work already."

She wore camouflage, but Paris Hilton couldn't hide from the cheetah or any other big game animals while staying on a luxury safari lodge in South Africa this week.

The heiress, who has a penchant for wearing animal prints and accumulating pets, and boyfriend Benji Madden encountered lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos at the elite Aquila Private Game Reserve near Cape Town.

"Paris and Benji said it was the greatest experience they'd ever had," owner Searl Derman said. "Paris said that although she had traveled the world, waking up to the roar of lions was unique."

Although camping outdoors, the city slickers hardly had to rough it. When not bonding with the cats, they could enjoy their air-conditioned accommodations or take an ATV ride.

Robin Williams's Wife Files for Divorce

Robin Williams's wife has filed for divorce after 19 years of marriage, the actor's rep, Mara Buxbaum, has confirmed.

Marsha Garces Williams filed a divorce petition in San Francisco on March 21, citing irreconcilable differences, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The pair have two children together: daughter Zelda, 18, and son Cody, 16.

Garces, 51, and Williams, 56, wed in April 1989, shortly after the actor's divorce from his previous wife.

According to the eight-page court filing, Garces is asking for joint legal custody of Cody – that the boy live with her and Williams get visitation – as well as payment of attorney fees and spousal support (amount to be determined).

The papers indicate she will ask the court to divide their property once all their assets have been tallied.

During their marriage, the couple also worked together. Garces was a producer on several of her husband's films, including Jakob the Liar, Patch Adams, and Mrs. Doubtfire.

The squeaky-clean duo divulge everything from their favorite color (blue for both) to number of boyfriends (zero apiece) to late-night dancing at Target in their pajamas and their religion ("Yes, we are," is their unified and emphatic response to whether they are Christian.)

"We love Jesus!" Cyrus, 15, says. "Jesus rocks! She dances for Jesus. I sing, dance and act for Jesus! ... Now that I think about it, I do everything for Jesus. We make the YouTube videos for Jesus. We’re all about it."

The song is available digitally March 25 — the day after The Hills returns to television. In the airy pop song, Montag, with a little bit of vocoder assistance, sings about a broken relationship (possibly alluding to trouble with her fiancé, manager and music video director Spencer Pratt), intoning, “I bet you wish you had my love again/ I bet you wish you never made that decision” over a drizzly keyboard line.

Montag’s first single, “Higher,” premiered with a now-classic music video, shot by Pratt, on a beach.

While the Hills villainess has talked openly about her designs at becoming a pop star, and Pratt has claimed, “we have diamond records coming,” the pair have not yet announced plans to release a full album

Country Star Sara Evans Engaged

Country star and Dancing with the Stars alum Sara Evans, who underwent a very public divorce battle last year, has found love again with beau Jay Barker, a former quarterback at the University of Alabama – and the two now plan to marry, Evans's rep, Lori Genes, tells .

"The couple are enjoying their engagement and look forward to their upcoming nuptials," Genes says. The couple have yet to set a wedding date.

Evans, 37, who has three children with ex Craig Schelske, and Barker, who has four children from his previous marriage, began dating before Thanksgiving last year. Evans's divorce was finalized in September.

Barker, who led Alabama to a national championship in 1992, hosts a morning radio show in Birmingham. Evans has appeared as an in-studio guest on Barker's show, The Opening Drive on WJOX, several times and Barker has joined her on some tour dates.

Evans spent the Easter holiday weekend with her family but will resume touring later this week.

Who wouldn't want to watch a "Hero" tie a bowtie or drool over nachos poolside? Milo Ventimiglia makes it all possible with his online identity. Known as Russ181, the Heroes star has built a sizeable following on his YouTube page that he manages with his DiVide Pictures production partner Russ Cundiff.

Ventimiglia and Cundiff have 29 videos posted on the site, which range from lightsaber fight scenes between the two pals to clips of Ventimiglia brushing his teeth, shining his shoes and even watering the yard (before the Golden Globes, according to the title!). Many of them are tribute videos in response to short clips posted by fans of the actor, who call themselves DiVide Social Club, a rep for Ventimiglia tells . (The latest video to gain attention features a seemingly crazed Milo dressed as a bunny, an homage to this clip.)

No word on whether Ventimiglia's girlfriend and costar Hayden Panettiere will make a guest appearance on one of the videos anytime soon.

Injured Man's Family Criticizes Hogans Over Car Crash

The gloves are off between the Hogans and the family of John Graziano – who has been hospitalized since last August, when he was a passenger in the car being driven by Hogan son Nick.

The Hogans – whose real names are Linda, Brooke and Nick Bollea – last month paid a Valentine's Day visit to the hospital, where they brought gifts and were accompanied by photographers, who delivered images of the family to celebrity news Web sites, the Graziano family's attorneys contend.

"We believe that it was a total [public relations] stunt," Graziano attorney Kimberley Kohn tells the St. Petersburg Times, which reports that a suit against the Hogans by the Grazianos appears to be a matter of when, not if, say attorneys.

The Hogans take issue with Kohn's claim.

"The Bollea family has been visiting John for the last seven or eight months, and there's been no PR about it whatsoever," their Tampa-based attorney, Morris "Sandy" Weinberg Jr., tells the paper. "It's a bunch of nonsense to suggest their visits to John are a PR stunt. That's crazy."

Hulk Hogan (real name: Terry Bollea) was not part of the Valentine's visit but reportedly sees the 23-year-old former Marine about every five weeks.

Still Unconscious

While it was said in December that Graziano had shown some signs of improvement, the road ahead of him remains a very long one, said his family's attorneys.

"We all have hope and prayers that he will regain consciousness," Kohn said. "We're talking about years of rehab before we know where John is going to be."

On Aug. 26, Nick Hogan's yellow Toyota Supra careened off a four-lane highway in Clearwater, Fla., and crashed into a 25-ft.-tall palm tree.

Charges, No Lawsuit

Hogan, 17 at the time, sustained minor injuries and was released from the hospital the next day. In November, he was booked on criminal charges related to the crash, including reckless driving.

The Grazianos have not filed suit against the Hogans, says the Times, which also reports that attorneys for the injured man's family have noted the "astronomical" medical expenses.

"We've tried very hard to avoid a circus atmosphere," said attorney George Tragos, "which is very hard in this case."

Ryan Seacrest knows a lot about Denise Richards’s daily activities these days — including her romantic life.

The Idol host, whose company is producing Richards’s upcoming reality show, recently revealed that the former Mrs. Sheen was out with a new man.

“I can tell you she is on a blind date tonight,” Seacrest, 33, told Details magazine party to mark its 3rd annual “Mavericks” issue, with Seacrest on the cover.

The Idol host was mum about the lucky guy’s name. But there is one thing Richards is certainly making a point to do: Erase her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, from her life.

On Friday, Richards, 37, formally requested a family court to legally restore her maiden name from “Denise Sheen.” Over the weekend, she also visited a tattoo parlor where she had her “Charlie” tattoo changed into a fairy — in front of cameras for her show, her rep confirms.

The actress and single mom is set to star in an untitled E! series that will follow her as she “navigates Hollywood, romance and motherhood,” according to the network. The show, to be produced by Seacrest’s company, will debut this summer.

Even before the cameras started rolling, the series had made news over the objections raised by Sheen, who was unhappy with plans to feature their two daughters, Sam, 3, and Lola, 2. (In January, a court commissioner granted Richards permission to include the children on the air.)

Regarding how the kids will factor into the series, Seacrest said, “How we deal with it really is up to her and Charlie. If she wants them to be a part of it, and if its okay, then great. If not, that’s her call. It really is up to her.

The tennis star and the singer-actor stepped out together over Easter weekend, hitting a West Hollywood nightclub. According to an eyewitness, the pair (who appear together in Common's latest video, "I Want You") were "affectionate," holding hands and kissing during their night on the town.

Reps for both Common and Williams declined to comment on their clients' personal life.

Common's cuddly night out also comes just as he's about to hit the big screen in Wanted with Angelina Jolie – whom he praised as an impressive woman off-screen.

"She has a good heart and she's a good person," he said recently at a press day for his other new film, Street Kings. Her two-month marriage to Rick Salomon, which lasted from last October to December, was officially annulled Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, reports TMZ.

On Friday, Salomon followed Anderson's lead and filed papers claiming "fraud" as the reason for the annullment. When Anderson, 40, originally filed for divorce from Salomon, 39, she cited irreconcilable differences.

J.K. Rowling Admits She Was Suicidal

Though she has made no secret of how her life had sunk before her immense success with the Harry Potter series, J.K. Rowling has never before detailed that despondent period of her life.

That now has changed, with the author, 42, opening up to an Edinburgh University student magazine, the BBC and British newspapers report.

Rowling also admits that she contemplated taking her own life back in the early 1990s, after separating from her first husband, Portuguese journalist Jorge Arantes.

"We're talking suicidal thoughts here, we're not talking 'I'm a little bit miserable,' " Rowling told student Adeel Amini, 22.

"Mid-twenties life circumstances were poor and I really plummeted," Rowling said, recalling friends had to help her pay the security deposit for her apartment rental – where she would eventually begin writing about the boy wizard, which would spawn a $14 billion industry.

"The thing that made me go for help was probably my daughter," said Rowling, referring to the then-infant, Jessica, reports the Telegraph. "She was something that earthed me, grounded me, and I thought, this isn't right, this can't be right, she cannot grow up with me in this state.”

'Get Out' of Depression

Through a circuitous route – her regular doctor was away at the time of her crisis – Rowling eventually met with a therapist, who helped her "get out" of the depression.

"The funny thing is, I have never been remotely ashamed of having been depressed. Never," she says. "I think I'm abnormally shameless on that account because what's to be ashamed of?"

Seeking to remove any stigma that might be attached to seeking counseling, Rowing now advises all those suffering from depression to "go and get help."

Brad Pitt's Reverse Aging Amazes Tilda

As Benjamin Button, in David Fincher's upcoming movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Pitt portrays someone suffering a rare reverse-aging condition – which costar Tilda Swinton says is amazing to behold.

"The programs they developed for that are just going to blow everything out of the water," the Michael Clayton Oscar-winner, 47, gushed to MTV News about the technology employed to speed up – and turn back – the clock on Pitt. "I think it’s going to be extraordinary."

Based on the F. Scott Fitzgerald story, Pitt plays Button through nearly 80 years of his life. "There are about eight sections, and I'm one of them. I'm his first love in the '30s in Russia," Swinton said. “What's fascinating is we were all in these little films and they'll all be put together [like an anthology]."

Cate Blanchett also stars in the flick, due in December.

The Ugly Betty star, who also attended two other campaign events Saturday, was seen travelling in New York with boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams on Friday.

Paris Hilton Hosts a Party in Johannesburg

It didn't take long for Paris Hilton to organize a VIP party for herself in Johannesburg this weekend hot on the heels of her goodwill school tour earlier in the week.

On Friday night, Hilton was greeted by a throng of fans at the party, which had been organized with barely 24 hours notice, and gamely posed for pictures.

Meanwhile, Benji Madden, who had performed earlier to wild applause at the My Coke Fest 2008 with his band Good Charlotte, let his girl have the spotlight. At the party, he walked by the crowd virtually unnoticed.

Inside, the couple were affectionate as they hung out in the VIP section. Paris welcomed her fans from a distance via a microphone, declaring that she "loved South Africa, the accent and everyone."

Whenever Hilton leaned over the balcony of the VIP area, she waved and the crowd went hysterical every time, according to an observer.

The party quickly died down after the hostess departed close to 2.30 am.

Corinne Bailey Rae's Husband Found Dead

The husband of British soul singer Corinne Bailey Rae was found dead in an apartment in Leeds, England, the BBC reports.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said officers were called to the home where they found saxophonist Jason Rae, 31, Saturday afternoon.

In connection with the case, a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs, and was since released on bail, according to police.

Reports say that Rae was the victim of a suspected overdose, however, results of a post mortem exam were inconclusive. Police are awaiting the results of a toxicology report, according to the BBC.

Rae had been scheduled to play a gig with his band The Haggis Horns at the HiFi Club in Leeds Sunday. The show has been canceled.

Bailey Rae, 29, and her husband met when the singer worked in as a coat room attendant at a jazz club in Leeds. They married in 2001.

Bailey Rae's record label offered condolences to the singer in a statement released Sunday, saying, "EMI Records would like to offer its sincere condolences to Corinne Bailey Rae and the Rae family at this tragic time. We ask that the media respects Corinne's privacy and that of her entire family."

MTV’s highest-rated program last fall, The Hills‘ cameras have captured her days as a fashion-magazine intern (Teen Vogue) and nights as a club-hopper who flirts with guys and spars with friends (and frenemies). How we love it so.

In an effort to translate her fame into a legit fashion career, she and her father, Jim Conrad, have assembled a team of Hollywood-industry advisers and signed several licensing and endorsement deals, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The process isn’t always smooth.

The network that made her famous won’t promote her enterprises on air. And Lauren Conrad, determined to assert her fashion vision, sometimes ignores the suggestions of her more seasoned advisers.

“I’m sure a lot of people don’t take me seriously,” she says.

Gold Dug, Heather Mills Wants Gag Order Lifted

Just when you thought she might crawl back under the slimy rock from whence she came, Heather Mills’ divorce battle with Paul McCartney may erupt again.

The legendary gold digger plans to return to court in a bid to get the gag order lifted on her case, according to the UK’s Daily Star.

If she succeeds, Mills, dubbed Mucca because of her porn past, will make millions in media deals, on top of the tens of millions in gold she’s already dug.

She was evidently left reeling by Mr. Justice Bennett’s judgment last week, in which he branded her a “fantasist” who “wholly exaggerated” the extent of her personal wealth before she met Sir Paul McCartney, 65.

Heather Mills‘ lawyer yesterday described the judge’s 58-page verdict as a “prolonged hanging” which led to her suffering “blanket vilification.”

Solicitor David Rosen revealed: “Heather is frustrated… She feels it is very unfair that the judgment should be printed in full when she cannot defend herself. She’s planning to apply to lift the ban. It was damning enough that the judge made his judgment so clear and vividly … no-one deserves that. It’s like a prolonged hanging.”

Allow us a brief pause in which we cry Heather Mills a frickin’ river.

Beyond what the judge chose to disclose to the press, the hearings were covered by a confidentiality agreement, enforced by a court order. That means neither party is allowed to elaborate on what was said in the case.

But the upcoming Miss USA judge argues that now the judge has lifted the lid on some details, she wants to be able to put all her side of the exchanges.

She wants every word that was said during the nine days in the court made public. And she wants to be free to say what she wants about it.

Nicolas Sarkozy's Ex-Wife Gets Married in New York

France's former first lady, Cécilia Ciganer-Albéniz, and Moroccan-born public relations executive Richard Attias wed in New York Sunday, sources confirmed .

Ciganer-Albéniz, 50, and Attias, 48, tied the knot in the evening at the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center before a reported 148 guests.

For the ceremony, Ciganer-Albéniz wore a Versace gown, a guest confirmed.

On Saturday night, the couple, along with two busloads of family and friends – including the bride's 11-year- old son Louis from her marriage to French President Nicolas Sarkozy – attended a performance of Mamma Mia! on Broadway. The happy pair even got a shout-out at the end of the show from cast member Andy Kelso, who said, "And congratulations to Cecelia and Richard!"

Ciganer-Albéniz divorced Sarkozy on Oct. 18 after 11 years of marriage. Sarkozy wed former model Carla Bruni on Feb. 2.

Former Laguna Beach hottie Kristin Cavallari is confident that the nude Audrina Patridge photos won’t bring The Hills star down.

“She can move on from it,” she told Us Weekly at the Details Celebrates “Mavericks 2008″ in L.A. Thursday.

“She’s young, she did her thing, whatever,” Kristin Cavallari said.

“She looks good. Her body is bangin’!”

We’re not sure how a topless Catholic school girl with knee-high socks ready to get her freak on qualifies as artistic, but whatever works for Audrina Patridge to justify it. We’re not judging, that’s for sure! You go, girl.
