Britney's behavior has cost her $61 million!

When Britney Spears’ father, Jamie, was named her co-conservator on February 1, he took over her financial affairs. But after going through her books, Jamie must have learned just how much of a toll Britney’s crazy behavior, which started in February 2007 when she shaved her head, has had on her bank account — she’s lost nearly $61 million. “It’s staggering how much money has been used up,” a family friend says.

In addition to the enormous tab for legal bills, rehab and psychiatric care, Britney’s inability to work has cost her a fortune. “By not touring for her last album [Blackout], she lost out on $50 million,” estimates Robert Bianchi, an LA-based CPA who isn’t an accountant for Britney. Jamie hired his own accountants to sort out the money mess and bring an end to the 26-year-old’s excessive spending. “It’s been quite a challenge getting things under control,” the insider says. Luckily, as Britney’s mental health improves, so does her bottom line. “She’s spending about a fifth of what she used to,” the insider adds.

The adage certainly doesn’t apply to Britney Spears, who left California Friday and returned to her native Kentwood, La., marking her first trip back since before hospitalizations, custody battles and crazy no-pants-clubbing galore.

Also in town is Britney Spears‘ father, Jamie Spears, who remains in legal control of her personal, financial and medical affairs at least until a July 31 court hearing.

The troubled singer’s arrival in her home state comes as inside sources say there is a planned baby shower over the weekend for her 17-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears, who announced her pregnancy back in December.

Pregnant Jamie Lynn Spears and her 19-year-old baby-daddy / fiance, Casey Aldridge, announced their engagement in March. Congrats, kids!

Britney Spears, 26, last visited Kentwood in early 2007 for her aunt’s funeral. Accompanying her at the time was boyfriend Isaac Cohen.

On the first part of an interview with Oprah Winfrey that aired today (the second part airs Monday, check local listings!), Tom Cruise let us down.

The occasionally deranged husband of Kate Holmes and probable father of Suri Cruise simply sat on a couch. He didn’t jump on it once.

Here’s what Cruise had to say on a number of topics:

On his feelings for Holmes: “I can’t even articulate it, to be honest. That feeling, that connection. Just who she is and what she means to me.”

On waiting three months to publish Suri’s photo in Vanity Fair in 2006: “Kate and I didn’t feel any need to [rush] it. We said, ‘Why? It’s our family.’ We just were on Suri time.”

Barack Obama Vows to End War… Between Heidi and Lauren

Barack Obama has proven time and again that he’s the right man to lead America.

Unlike other politicians that see every issue in black and white, Obama has the insight to truly analyze an issue, to use proper judgment before making a decision, to avoid pandering to audiences in favor of actually having a discussion with them.

He proved as much during his ground-breaking speech on race relations a few weeks ago, and he did so again with an appearance in The Late Show with David Letterman this week.

“My first act as President will be to stop the fighting between Lauren and Heidi on The Hills,” the presidential hopeful read as part of his Top Ten “Surprising Facts” about himself last night.

Sounding reasonable and thoughtful as always, Barack Obama did not choose sides in the Heidi Montag/Lauren Conrad feud. But he did vow to end this war.

Among other surprising facts Obama revealed about himself were:

• “Number 5: I have canceled all my appearances the day the Sex and the City movie opens.”
• “Number 2: This has nothing to do with the Top Ten, but what the heck is up with Paula Abdul?”

Inside American Idol: David Archuleta’s Relief, Dedication

David Archuleta has never been in the bottom three on an elimination night. And we’d be willing to wager that he never will be.

But, according to People Magazine, the young, popular crooner was shocked when he was sent to the safe sofa this week.

As David walked over to join Jason Castro, also safe, on the couch, he mouthed “wow, wow, wow” to himself, maintaining a look of shock into the break. We don’t know why. Of course he was safe, and he’ll continue to be until the finals (where we hope he loses out to David Cook).

Also, according to a family friend, Tuesday night’s song choice of Neil Diamond’s “America” was chosen by Archuleta in dedication to his mom, Lupe, who originally came to the U.S. from Honduras.

The celebrity gossip world has been buzzing with rumors that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon went from engaged to married in a shorter period of time than it took Britney Spears to from hot to vomit-inducing.

According to family member Linda Cannon, the couple is, in fact, hitched.

“Yes, we know,” she told E! Online. “He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him.”

We can only wonder if Cannon’s ex-girlfriends, Selita Ebanks and Kim Kardashian, feel the same way.

During an emotional press conference with attorney Gloria Allred, Laura Boyce - the woman accusing Rob Lowe’s wife, Sheryl of, well, many things - broke down in tears.

“I feel betrayed and hurt and extremely upset that (the Lowes) would sue me after I endured what I did in their household,” Boyce said. “I never did anything to them other than give them my best efforts for their children.”

That’s not how Sheryl Lowe sees the situation, though:

“The charges against me are lies meant to embarrass and humiliate. I find it deeply offensive the false allegation that I would use racially insensitive comments. I’m certain that my dearest and longtime friend, and godfather to my children, Marcus Allen, would beg to differ with their charges.

Ryan Seacrest Defends Paula Abdul

It was an emotional hour of American Idol last night.

Even before Brooke White broke down in tears following her elimination, Ryan Seacrest had come to the defense of Paula Abdul.

Responding to celebrity gossip sites that dared to claim Abdul was drunk during her Tuesday night blunder - when she critiqued a Jason Castro song that hadn’t been performed yet - Seacrest said:

“Last night the judges were thrown a curve ball on the air, which is just part of a live show… But it sparked a lot of gossip about Paula. And I read some of this online this morning and just for the record, the rumors — they’re not true. She’s part of our family and we love her.”

Abdul truly looked touched as the audience cheered, while both Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell gave her a kiss on the cheek.

This caused Ryan to joke: “I think Simon still wants to hook up with her.”

Strike 3! Roger Clemens’ Affair with Paulette Dean Daly

Former baseball star Roger Clemens is piling up humiliating extramarital affairs, as revealed in New York newspapers, like he used to with strikeouts!

Having already been outed as having had long-term affairs with both Mindy McCready and Angela Moyer, Clemens had a relationship with Paulette Dean Daly, a former wife of golfer John Daly, the Daily News says.

Clemens, a married father of four, arranged trips to Anaheim Stadium for Paulette Dean Daly to watch him pitch for the Yankees against the Angels.

Sources also said he spent time with her in Palm Springs, California.

Paulette Dean Daly (pictured, right, with ex-husband John Daly) met Roger Clemens at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, a Palm Springs golf tournament she’s been involved with for years. Guess we know why he waits until May to un-retire each season.

“Yeah, I’ve known Roger quite a while and we are friends,” Daly said.

She declined to elaborate on the specific nature of her relationship with the Cy Young winner, but did not deny the allegations from several sources that it was romantic and included financial support.

Asked if she was romantically involved with Roger Clemens, Daly said:

“You know what, I’m really uncomfortable talking about this. I’m just going to have to say, ‘No comment.’ I know Roger. I consider him a good friend.”

“That’s all I’m comfortable saying.”

Moyer did not comment on her alleged affair with Clemens, while Mindy McCready said she “could not refute” a single detail of this week’s reports.

Spencer Pratt Denies Jason Wahler Sex Tape Denial

Spencer Pratt is sticking to his story that the Jason Wahler-Lauren Conrad sex tape existed, even if it doesn’t exist right now.

LC’s ex, Jason Wahler said yesterday in a statement:

“I do not have a sex tape of Lauren Conrad and one does not exist. Spencer Pratt is lying again to get attention. Lauren Conrad is a close friend of mine and it is insulting to her to suggest this.”

But Spencer Pratt, who said on the Tyra Banks Show late last week that he’s 100 - nay, 1,000 - percent sure the tape existed, countered:

“Jason’s statement couldn’t be more transparent. Notice how he uses present tense, ‘I DO not have a sex tape… one DOES not exist.’”

“We all know that it existed, that he tried to sell it and is now covering up to make himself look better,” the smarmy Hills villain said.

Jessica Simpson: I Love Tony Romo

In the June issue of Glamour, Jessica Simpson says she is “in love” with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, whom she says helped her gain more confidence.

She says she even wrote him a song, “Back in My Old Boots.”

“He reintroduced me to myself,” she says. “I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date.”

“[Tony Romo] taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again,” she adds.

Jessica Simpson dismisses critics who claimed she jinxed his career by showing up at one of his football games that he lost last year.

“Everybody takes everything out on me! But that was ludicrous,” she says. “I don’t understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No.”

Jessica Simpson says that Tony Romo first caught her eye while she was going through her messy divorce with Nick Lachey.

“My family and I were watching a Cowboys game … and — Tony would die if I told you this — but [on TV there was a story] about him,” she says. “They said his celebrity crush was Jessica Simpson.”

“My family was like, ‘Did you just hear that?’” she goes on. “His picture came up, and I’m like, ‘He’s really cute.’ Then I heard [that I was his crush], and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!’”

Laura Boyce Files New Lawsuit Against Rob Lowe

Move over, Jessica Gibson. Another former nanny of Rob Lowe wants to sue the actor.

Laura Boyce is accusing the actor and his wife of sexual harassment, according to the woman’s lawyer (who also represents Gibson), Gloria Allred

“The details of the lawsuit will speak for itself,” Allred told People.

We’ll have more on the latest lawsuit filed against Rob Lowe - this one by Laura Boyce - when the information is released.

TMZ is now reporting that the bulk of the suit is filed against Rob’s wife, Sheryl. Among the accusations by Boyce:

• Walking around naked, completely exposing herself to Boyce.
• Asking Boyce about the size of Boyce’s boyfriend’s penis
• Once saying “laughingly that her husband’s (Rob) cockrings were broken,” allegedly showing them to Boyce.
• Telling Boyce about her sex life with Rob.
• Talking about the size of her children’s penises.

Jeez. And we thought Lindsay Lohan was dirty.

The Hollywood Gossip’s favorite teenage runaway, aspiring singer and elite New York City prostitute, Ashley Alexandra Dupre, turns 23 today. Yay!

Just a few months ago, no one knew who Ashley Dupre was. She went by all sorts of other names - Ashley Youmans, Ashley DiPietro, Kristen, etc.

Then disgraced Gov. Eliot Spitzer was snared plunking down thousands of dollars an hour for the honor of doing her and everything changed.

Ashley Dupre was featured in the New York Times, becoming a household name overnight and selling over $200,000 in crappy online music downloads.

You gotta love America.

It was later discovered that Dupre got all topless and naked for Joe Francis & Co. while vacationing in Florida (and lying about her age) in 2003.

She and the Girls Gone Wild founder are now trading barbs and lawsuits regarding his use of Ashley Dupre nude / topless footage.

How will it end? Nobody knows. But we’re hopeful that Ashley finds a good career path now that her days of slinging poon are over… we think.

Report: Paula Abdul Drunk on American Idol

For once, Paula Abdul may wanna own up to being plastered during American Idol.

The only other excuse the kooky judge could give for critiquing a performance that had yet to take place last night - seriously, take a look at the video now - would be that she’s a moron.

According to celebrity gossip source TMZ, Abdul was served at least one martini during lunch yesterday, Granted, that was hours before the show aired, but Paula isn’t the heaviest woman on the planet. We doubt her tolerance is very high.

Did Paula Abdul give away the fact that American Idol is scripted with remarks about a Jason Castro performance that hadn’t taken place?

It’s a chilly spring night in Los Angeles.

The scene is Don Antonio’s Mexican restaurant. The subject is the End of Western Civilization - also known as Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

Watching the fair-haired lovers stroll through their beloved Don Antonio’s feels like seeing Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe walk into the Stork Club back in the day.

That is, if Joe and Marilyn were the irresistible villains on The Hills, a maddeningly addictive MTV show in which nothing ever really happens.

As they sit at a dimly lit corner booth, and you can almost hear the text messages being tapped at nearby tables — omfg spencer n heidi r here!!!

Spencer Pratt, 24, who’s wearing a black Don Antonio’s polo and a wispy blond goatee, rattles off a grande order without consulting the menu.

Heidi Montag, a 21-year-old mane of blond highlights dressed in a blue sweater and white sweatpants, tucks her tiny head into his shoulder.

“I wish I got to see what you saw today,” Spencer says.

He’s referring to the Rolling Stone cover photo shoot attended by Heidi and her three castmates on The Hills: Audrina Patridge, 22, Whitney Port, 23, and the show’s star and protagonist, the lovely Lauren Conrad, 22.

Heidi Montag has been engaged in an ugly feud with Lauren Conrad (which started when she began dating Pratt but escalated over sex tape rumors).

Maybe you’ve heard about this ongoing charade at some point.

In any case, this Rolling Stone cover shoot was the first time Heidi and Lauren had been photographed, not merely Photoshopped (as MTV has been forced to do), together in more than a year. Like, OMG, 4 real.

Jason Wahler: Spencer Pratt Sucks, Lies

Jason Wahler is speaking out against Spencer Pratt’s recent claims on national TV that a Lauren Conrad sex tape exists.

“I do not have a sex tape of Lauren Conrad and one does not exist,” Wahler said in a statement. “Spencer Pratt is lying again to get attention.

“Lauren is my friend,” said Wahler, LC’s ex, who’s battled a long list of legal problems. “And it is insulting to her to suggest this.”

On Tuesday’s Tyra Banks Show, Spencer Pratt declared, “I know for 100 percent fact it did exist - 1,000 percent!”

Pratt’s girlfriend, Heidi Montag, also claimed the video is:

“Not a rumor. From what I have heard from confirmed sources… her ex-boyfriend [Jason Wahler] was going around trying to sell it.”

Banks then asked Heidi Montag, if she hadn’t seen the tape, how could she be so sure it existed?

“Well, I mean, I am not sure she has it anymore… but from what I’ve heard… I am not really allowed to elaborate.”

Very convincing argument right there, Heidi. What else would you expect from the biggest media whore in Hollywood after Ashlee Simpson?

Tom Cruise, Kids Cheer on David Beckham

While Suri Cruise gets all the press, let’s not forget that Tom Cruise has two teenage adopted children, Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.

Much as we love to rip on Tom, we like that he’s always spending time with these two, including over this past weekend, when he took Isabella and Connor to see his soccer star buddy, David Beckham, at the Home Depot Center …

As we reported last week, young Connor Cruise will soon be making his film debut as a young Will Smith… or at least the young version of Will Smith’s character in the upcoming drama Seven Pounds. Sounds like fun!

We’re still waiting on the Roger Clemens and Mindy McCready sex tape - seriously, would anyone be surprised by that at this point - but, in the meantime, the following news will have to suffice:

Vivid Entertainment claims to possess a Jimi Hendrix sex tape.

The tape is 45 minutes long and you can watch a clip of it at TMZ. Reportedly, the FBI probably has an entire library full of vintage videos such as this.

We can’t wait until they come out with a Neil Diamond sex tape.

Joe Francis Offers Ashley Dupre $1 Million to Back Off

Earlier this year, Joe Francis offered Ashley Alexandra Dupre $1 million to appear in his soft-porn films after she was unmasked as Kristen, a hooker frequented by New York Gov. Spitzer, who resigned in disgrace.

Now, in a (Girls Gone) Wild twist, Joe Francis is offering Ashley Dupre $1 million again - this time to drop a $10 million lawsuit against him.

“She should keep in mind, it’s considerably more than the Governor of New York paid her, and our activities aren’t illegal,” Francis told the Daily News, adding that Ashley Dupre has “zero” chance of winning her lawsuit.

“It is incomprehensible that Ms. Dupre could claim she did not give consent to be filmed by Girls Gone Wild, when in fact we have videotape of her giving consent, while showing her identification,” Francis said.

Ashley Dupre is a bad, bad girl. Joe Francis ain’t much better.

“She’s seeking $10 million for topless photos taken in front of a room full of people, including … multiple crews we had in the room. These images were taken in public places and they contain no sexual contact.”

Ashley Dupre has sued the sultan of sleaze for allegedly getting her drunk and “tricking” her into disrobing for the cameras on a 2003 vacation in Florida - then using the footage in a video series without permission.

If you had to pick (extremely dirty, morally bankrupt) sides here, who would you back in this battle: Joe Francis or Ashley Dupre?

Roger (Clemens Hit) That! Mindy McCready Confirms Affair

Following a shocking story that broke Monday, country singer Mindy McCready confirmed a long-term affair with embattled baseball star Roger Clemens.

“I cannot refute anything in the story,” a tearful but resolute McCready told the New York Daily News, which reported that they met in a Florida karaoke bar when McCready was a 15-year-old aspiring singer.

Roger Clemens was a 28-year-old ace for the Boston Red Sox and already married to Debbie Clemens, with whom he has four kids, at the time.

“Yes, I have known Roger Clemens for a long time,” McCready said. “He’s a kind and caring man. He’s also a legendary athlete. The central topic in the debate, however, regards his professional life, not his personal life.

“There are legal matters working their way through the system that have nothing to do with me. From my point of view, that is where the focus should remain.”

After the teenage Mindy McCready met Roger Clemens at a Fort Myers, Fla., bar called The Hired Hand, she returned with the Rocket to his hotel room, but there was no sex that night, sources told The Daily News.

It wasn’t until later, after Mindy McCready had moved to Nashville and become a country singing star, that the relationship turned intimate.

Sources say Mindy McCready also received hefty checks courtesy of Roger Clemens - some up to $25,000 - channeled to her through an intermediary.

Such an arrangement raises questions as to why Clemens would go through a third party to give McCready money if they were just friends.

McCready has suffered a long list of legal troubles, which included a 2004 arrest for fraud and jail time last year for violating probation.

Roger Clemens is under FBI investigation for perjury after denying, under oath, accusations by his former personal trainer, Brian McNamee, that the seven-time Cy Young Award winner used performance-enhancing drugs.

Hilary Duff Won’t Judge Miley Cyrus… Too Much

As a fellow young star, Hilary Duff can relate to the current scandal surrounding Miley Cyrus and her risque photo shoot for Vanity Fair. Sort of.

Duff can at least relate to the culture in which her, Cyrus and other celebrities reside.

“Everyone goes through things and takes their own path,” Duff said Monday to People Magazine “Who am I to judge decisions that she made?”

A fair, honest point from Hilary… until she goes on to sort of judge Cyrus, saying she wouldn’t have posed with so little (i.e. zero) clothing on.

“People are pushing you to do something, and if you want to do it, that’s your choice, you know?” Duff said. “It’s not what I would choose to do, but if she did then that’s fine. That’s her choice.”

The Hills Recap: “A Date With the Past”

If The Hills were a soap opera (which it sort of is), this would be the week that the original cast member returned to fireworks and high drama.

Our subject is none other than Stephen Colletti, Lauren Conrad’s best friend, then love interest, then… who knows! Anyway, he’s alive - and HOT!

He’s a guest at the housewarming party LC, Lo and Audrina throw for their new digs. Their digs are pretty nice. They cost like $2 million. But that never even comes up. Audrina lives in the GUEST HOUSE! Quite the pad, LC.

Everyone rolls to the housewarming party - everyone other than Stephanie Pratt, who makes a point of letting Heidi Montag know beforehand how she’s going. Heidi then guilt-trips Steph out of it. Lame.

When Audrina mentions that her on-again beau Justin-Bobby plans to attend, the room goes silent. “Maybe he will wear his cowboy hat,” Lo jokes.

Audrina Patridge? Not pleased.

Justin-Bobby (a.k.a. Justin Brescia) does indeed show at LC’s. He’s looking less scruffy than usual in his new ‘do, but he’s still Justin-Bobby. He and Audrina talk about how ostracized she feels from LC and Lo.

Brody Jenner brings girlfriend Cora Skinner, but her awkward introduction to LC comes and goes without incident. She’s, like, focused on Stephen!

Lauren “Lo” Bosworth is delighted when Stephen Colletti arrives: “You guys are hanging out again? That melts my little black heart!” Lo says.

“LOVE ME” EYES: Lauren Conrad stares at Stephen Colletti on The Hills. With that face, one wonders how he could resist jumping her right there at the restaurant!

But, despite Lo’s dreams, LC and Stephen aren’t dating - nor will they be in the future. One night later, Lauren got dolled up for a date with Stephen, who made it clear he thinks of them as just friends.

When LC mentions how giddy Lo acted about their date, Stephen Colletti says: “She’s like everyone else wishing someone would happen between you and I.”

Lauren Conrad looked very disappointed, yet seemed at the same time to realize that Stephen was probably right - their dating days had passed.

LC turns home and eats ice cream, telling Lo (looking adorable in her UCLA sweatshirt) that “Some things are just better left the way they are.”

Britney Spears Begins Filming New “Mother” Episode

Britney’s back on TV! Again!

While future brother-in-law Casey Aldridge celebrates his birthday today, Britney Spears is hard at work on a new episode of How I Met Your Mother.

In an episode set to air May 12, Britney Spears will reprise her role as cute, ditzy receptionist Abby, the show’s producers officially announced Monday.

Titled “Everything Must Go,” the new How I Met Your Mother episode finds guest star Britney Spears and Neil Patrick Harris’ character, Barney, flaunting their “relationship” in front of Josh Radnor’s character, Ted.

Desperately seeking a response, Barney pops a surprising question to Abby.

A show source described Spears’ return to the show as a “mutual decision to work together more.” Her father, Jamie Spears, who is in charge of her legal, medical and financial affairs (while she receives treatment for her bipolar disorder) is also said to support her work in TV. Beats parading around in no pants, for sure!

Britney Spears’ initial guest starring turn — on a March 24 episode — earned critical praise and the show’s highest ratings to date.

Happy Birthday, Casey Aldridge!

The Hollywood Gossip would like to take a moment to wish a happy birthday to its favorite unwed teenage baby-daddy, Casey Aldridge!

Just 25 days ago, his girlfriend/fiancee, Jamie Lynn Spears, had a birthday of her own. For Casey Aldridge, this timing was critical.

Because Jamie Lynn turned 17 on April 4, and Casey turns 19 today, he’s not quite two years older than she. That means Casey can’t be charged for statutorily raping Jamie Lynn under Louisiana state law.

Talk about a sweet b-day gift!!

Casey Aldridge, who’s expecting his first of what will probably be many children with the fertile Jamie Lynn Spears on July 10, turns 19 today. Hooray!

Despite his sudden notoriety, and lack of interest in safe sex, Aldridge does seem focused on the right things now at least. As Jamie Lynn’s baby bump continues to grow, her profile has done the reverse - she and Casey have been laying low in small-town Louisiana, shopping at Wal-Mart and stuff. Good man, Case.

Sure, they’ll cash in on selling the baby photos to OK! Magazine, but other than that, don’t look for these two to flaunt their fame and exploit their kid for money.

Not for at least a couple of months anyway.

Miley Cyrus Photo Gate Update: Singer Banished, Parents Mortified

Get your licks in on Miley Cyrus now, celebrity gossip outlets. According to The New York Post, you won’t be hearing much from the singer after her Vanity Fair photo scandal blows over.

“You won’t be seeing her for a while,” a highranking Disney employee was overheard saying this weekend at a luncheon in LA, according to Page Six. “The company is keeping her away from events and wants her to keep a very low profile for the next four to six months. They’re trying to keep her contained.”

The newspaper added that Billy Ray Cyrus was actually not present for the most questionable shot in the publication’s collection, the quasi nude picture of his daughter that has become more controversial than the war in Iraq.

“Miley’s parents did leave the shoot and were not present for the final shot, nor did they see any digital images of the shot in question… Her parents are mortified.”

What gossip fan can forget this celebrity photo classic, starring the newly-engaged and ultra-horny Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, from back in 2004. Ah, to be young, in love and grabbing your fiance’s package on a hotel balcony…

After a brief courtship, Britney Spears and K-Fed married, fornicated a lot, had two kids, and called it quits about two years later. Good times.

Celebrating her single status as of late 2006, Britney embarked on an epic binge of clubbing (with no panties on most of the time), violating traffic laws, hooking up with (then quickly discarding) random boyfriends, neglecting Sean and Jayden, and being committed to the psychiatric wards of two different hospitals.

Maybe being with Kevin wasn’t that bad after all…

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon: Engaged?!?

What entertainment news story could knock a semi nude Miley Cyrus photo and a possible Roger Clemens/Mindy McCready affair off the front page?

How about an engagement between Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon!

While merely a rumor at this point, the singer wore a giant, sparkling ring on her left hand during the afterparty for her new film, Tennessee, on Saturday night. Cannon remained close by her side.

The new couple held hands at the party, which followed the movie’s premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. Cannon’s rep had no comment on the topic, but the man who once dated Kim Kardashian was asked what he liked about Carey and replied:

“Everything.”

Awww, we’re overcome with happiness, and nausea, for this couple already.

Wild Lawsuit: Ashley Dupre Wants $10M From Joe Francis

Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the New Jersey hooker at the center of the New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer scandal, filed a lawsuit Monday against Girls Gone Wild owner Joe Francis for exploiting her name and image for profit.

The suit seeks more than $10 million in damages.

In legal documents, Ashley Alexandra Dupre claims Girls Gone Wild reps came up to her while she was vacationing in Florida in 2003 and offered her alcohol before inducing her to expose her breasts and sign a waiver.

All while she was underage at just 17. Classy organization.

Since 2003, when this occurred, Girls Gone Wild has illegally exploited the name of Ashley Dupre - or so her lawsuit claims - as well as her picture, voice and likeness in a number of “deceptive advertising campaigns.”

Joe Francis - who was willing to pay Ashley Dupre $1 million to pose naked for his videos before realizing, y’know, she already had in 2003 - had no comment.

The multi-millionaire bag of sleaze was just released from a Nevada jail last month, and continues to face federal tax evasion charges in that state.

He is currently fighting separate charges in Florida for allegedly filming underage girls in Panama City. Joe Francis has claimed that the girls in question lied about their age and that he is therefore not liable.

Ashley Dupre, who turns 23 this week, has not appeared publicly since the Eliot Spitzer scandal broke and it was revealed that she exchanges sex for money at a staggeringly high rate - thousands of dollars an hour!

The New York Post isn’t known for its subtlety. Or its quality.

Therefore, it wasn’t shocking to find the controversial, racy Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair photo adorning this newspaper’s front page this morning, headlined by:

Miley’s Shame.

The headline of the Post says it all. Here’s the front page of the paper…

We do wonder, however, how long it took editors at this tabloid to decide that this quasi-naked photo of Cyrus deserved top billing over the Roger Clemens-Mindy McCready scandal.

Let’s just say we’d be surprised if tomorrow’s front page story on The New York Post isn’t a shot of these two celebrities, accompanied by the headline:

Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse Not Divorcing… Yet

Despite rumors of infidelity from both parties, singer Amy Winehouse and her junkie incarcerated husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, have made “no decision” about a divorce, a source close to the Grammy Winner reports.

“It is a tough situation,” the insider added to People magazine. “I don’t think that anyone who knows them and cares about them doesn’t have an opinion about why they should [split], but it’s not happening now.”

According to the source, Amy Winehouse’s “health and well-being” remain the most immediate concerns for those close to her.

The 24-year-old spent Friday night at a London police station after being found “unfit for questioning.” This followed an incident in which she head-butted some dude who tried to hail a taxi for her drunk ass, trashed a bar and smoked drugs on the street.

Winehouse was released Saturday morning after having been arrested and jailed, and was issued a “formal caution” on the charge of common assault.

This romantic photo of Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil shows the searing passion and everlasting shared by the two hard-ass drug addicts.

On Sunday, Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse, told the U.K.’s News of the World that he wanted her locked up in a mental hospital for her own protection.

“I want her sectioned,” he said, using the amusing British term for committed. “The situation is out of control. I want her off the street.”

Amy Winehouse met Blake Fielder-Civil, a part-time gofer on video sets, at a London bar in 2003. The couple got hitched in Miami in May 2007.

THG NOTE: If there are “rumors of infidelity” from both, who is Blake Fielder-Civil cheating with, seeing that he’s locked up - and does it count as cheating if you’re somebody’s bitch in a prison gang? Just asking.

Released: Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair Photos

The controversial Vanity Fair photos, for which Miley Cyrus has already apologized for, have been released online.

In the accompanying interview to the magazine shoot, the young singer explained her decision to pose topless, albeit with a blanket covering her body:

“I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy. [And] it wasn’t in a skanky way.… And you can’t say no to [photographer Annie Leibovitz]. She’s so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you’re like, O.K.”

Is the infamous picture skanky, Miley? No. But is it inappropriate for a 15-year old? Yes. You and your family should have known better.

Miley Cyrus Apologizes for Lewd Photos

Miley Cyrus has finally spoken out about a series of inappropriate photos that have been leaked around the Internet. She even referenced an upcoming Vanity Fair photo shoot that is likely to cause a stir when that publication hits newsstands.

“My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with [photographer Annie Liebovitz],” Cyrus told People Magazine. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”

Miley Cyrus is fully clothed in this photo. A few other pics, however, have caused problems for the singer.

The teen sensation added:

“The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone.”

Will we be seeing Miley Cyrus nude in the new issue of Vanity Fair?

The following, screen capped photo of an Entertainment Tonight story certainly makes it seem that way, doesn’t it? Granted, the trashy celebrity news program may be trolling for ratings, purposely misleading its viewers with an ad that appears to show the Hannah Montana star in the buff.

However, based on a handful of recent, controversial, racy Miley Cyrus photos, questions have been raised about the innocent image of the actress/singer. This picture won’t help matters.

We’ll have more on the Miley Cyrus (possibly topless) photo shoot for Vanity Fair as the pics emerge.

Tricia Helfer: Hot in FHM

Megan Fox was recently named the Sexiest Woman in the World by FHM. And that magazine gets no argument on that honor from us.

But, as you can see below, Tricia Helfer is none too shabby looking herself. The Battlestar Galactica actress - who just signed a developmental deal with FOX - was photographed by the UK’s version of FHM and is trying to make herself the early favorite for next year’s Sexiest Woman in the World.

Jamie Lynn Spears Hates Seat Belts (and Condoms)

We know Jamie Lynn Spears isn’t a fan of safe sex.

Well, apparently she’s equally opposed to automobile safety practices! Nice!

Despite her ever-growing baby bump, the pregnant 17-year-old forgot to buckle her seat belt as she rode in the passenger seat of her mother Lynne Spears’ SUV.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ most recent lapse in judgment can be seen on a video posted on TMZ as the two left a jewelry store in Kentwood, La., Thursday.

Jamie Lynn, whose parents are named Jamie and Lynne, reunited with her ma this week after months apart. Lynne had been in Los Angeles looking after her other train-wreck, traffic-safety-rejecting daughter, Britney Spears.

At the very least, though, Jamie Lynn had been spending a lot of time with fiance / baby daddy Casey Aldridge. Both celebrate birthdays in April!

Somehow, though, we doubt we even need to poll High School Musical fans about Zac Efron’s hottest look. Asking whether you like this actor with a shirt on or without is akin to asking Tila Tequila if she’d do anything for attention, isn’t it?
