This keeps getting stranger by the day.
Jessica Simpson was seen having a sushi lunch at Katsuya with Tony Romo in L.A. on Friday after three weeks of not being photographed together and widespread reports that the football star and rumored singer had broken up.
On Monday, Jessica Simpson’s rep denied that the pair had split, but her PR people then stayed silent all week regarding the couple’s status.
Pictures of Tony Romo partying in Chicago with a Jessica look-a-like named Lindsay certainly fueled speculation that he had moved on from Simpson.
Several sources close to the pair also said the breakup was over and done with, but here is Tony Romo, dining with Jessica Simpson in L.A. What gives?

With one daughter devastated over two recent breakups and another daughter preggers and tying the knot tomorrow, it’s chaos in the Simpson household.
As we reported earlier, Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson are broken up - but her dad still wants the quarterback to hit up Ashlee’s weekend wedding!
Crazy Joe Simpson, Ashlee and Jessica’s pimp and father, “called Tony and asked him to come to show support for the wedding,” Us reports.
It’s unclear if Tony Romo accepted Joe’s request, but he’s scheduled to fly to L.A. - where the wedding will take place - this weekend.
Tony Romo wasn’t present at a bachelor party Joe Simpson threw for Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson’s finace, and a few pals at Mr. Chow Thursday night.
E! reports that a steady supply of beer and wine was brought to their table. After the celebration, Joe Simpson picked up the $1,000 tab!

Sheryl Crow has moved on from the seven-time Tour de France champion. Rumor has it the singer is dating John Cassimus, a restaurateur from Birmingham, Ala.
“They’re enjoying getting to know each other,” said a source, who added Jay Barker, the new fiance of Sara Evans, introduced the pair.
“Jay got them together in March. John, who’s also a pilot, has been flying his plane to Nashville to see her. They’ve kept it pretty low-key — cooking together, riding horses, going up in his plane.”

O.J. Simpson’s girlfriend, Christie Prody, was apparently involved in an accident in which she was hit by a car in Miami, Fla., on Saturday, and is currently being treated for two broken legs, among other injuries.
No word on whether O.J. was driving. Just kidding. Okay not really.
Seriously, if O.J. isn’t beating or actively trying to kill this woman, he’s giving off bad karma or something. This incident comes just months after Christie Prody was badly hurt after she “fell at a gas station.”
Those slippery gas stations get you every time.
Christie Prody was badly hurt for the second time already this year. Surprisingly, O.J. Simpson is not believed to be responsible for her serious injuries.
Back to the current bizarre injury - Florida cops say she was driving down the highway when she had to pull over due to two flat tires.
Christie Prody got out of her car and, in a brilliant display of human intelligence, tried to cross the Interstate for some unknown reason.

After much speculation, it’s confirmed that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have split. This time, we don’t suspect he’ll take her back either.
“Tony dumped Jessica,” a source told Us. “Of course, she’s upset!”
When we saw Tony Romo putting the moves on some girl named Lindsay, we figured it was over. The biggest reason for the break up?
“This Jen-John Mayer thing is eating her up, and she can’t handle it — and Tony basically had enough,” a Simpson pal said. “She’s too much to handle.”
As we reported earlier this week, the day Jennifer Aniston and Mayer - yet another famous Jessica ex - went public as a couple, she went on a binge that left her so drunk and out of it, she called her mom for a ride.

We missed Adnan Ghalib.
The last time we heard from the former paparazzi boyfriend of Britney Spears, he was seen with Kathy Griffin. No clue WTF that was all about.
Oh, and there was the whole thing with that knife-wielding maniac trying to kill him. No idea what went on there or if it got resolved.

The romance rages on for Rihanna and Chris Brown, who spent Wednesday night at a Kanye West concert at Spotlight Live, a hip Times Square restaurant, a karaoke bar - and possibly the bedroom! Yeah!
One day after Rihanna helped Brown celebrate his 19th birthday at a Manhattan club (his actual b-day was May 5) the pair got even more HOT and affectionate in plain view of other concert-goers.
Chris Brown draped his arm around Rihanna, 20, as the two flirted, danced, clapped and sang along to the short concert. As Kanye West left the stage, Rihanna leaned over and - OMFG - planted a big kiss on Brown.
The couple then hung out with some friends in back.
OGLING AWAY: Officially, Chris Brown and Rihanna are on the DL, but one can only deny such an obvious, sexy relationship for so long, people.
An hour after the concert, music’s smoldering new couple retreated out the back door, posing for pictures - but only separately.

Believe it or not, it’s a story about Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo macking on a skanky girl named Lindsay and it’s NOT Lindsay Lohan!
A mystery blonde seen getting cozy with Tony Romo at Chicago club Manor over the weekend is named Lindsay. Pics of her appear below.
Lindsay is a former “sorority girl” who “just graduated Michigan State and has a steady boyfriend,” a source told Us Weekly. Scandalous!

The American Idol finals will come down to the two men who have carried the burden of being favorites for weeks now: David Cook and David Archuleta.

Stars. They really are just like us. The new Us Weekly says that Jessica Simpson got really drunk when she learned that John Mayer, the lame singer who broke her heart, went public with Jennifer Aniston.
The 27-year-old drowned her sorrows with a four-hour session of drinking at L.A.’s Mexicali Cocina Cantina on May 10, according to the magazine.
On hand were Jess’ former bitch CaCee Cobb - who threw up under the table - and her beau Donald Faison. Jessica had to leave her precious Range Rover in the parking lot and calling mom Tina for a ride home.

At a private hilltop location in L.A., The Hills cast and their fans on Monday celebrated the Season Three finale with a blow-out party Monday.
While it was sad to see Season 3 come to an end, there’s a whole new year of drama to look forward to in Season 4, beginning in late summer.
Here’s a look at what’s next for Lauren, Lo, Audrina and others, via some hot spoilers and gossip TV Guide unearthed at the party …
Boys, Boys, Boys
Expect more, more, more. Lo and Lauren throw a big party in their new pad and invite boys galore. The ever-single Stephanie Pratt feasts her eyes on, well, everyone, and Lauren Conrad may have a new beau (Doug Reinhardt?) in tow. And as for Audrina and Justin Bobby? They’re definitely back on. As Audrina herself says, “[Justin] has always been there for me, and he still is.”
Friends in Lo Places
As far as Lauren Bosworth (Lo) is concerned, the tension has little to do with her - despite a self-described “foul face” when the topic comes up.
Next season, expect more from Lo’s perspective.
“It’s disheartening to see me turn into such a bad guy on the show,” she said. In Season Four, “You’re going to see the other side of the story. I think people need to remember that it’s Audrina and Lauren’s relationship that’s having problems…. It’s not my relationship to muck up.”

A Chicago celebrity gossip blog is claiming Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo are broken up. TMZ has made similar statements in the past few days.
We can’t confirm or deny these rumors, but we can tell you that Tony Romo was partying with a bunch of dudes this past weekend.
He supposedly told them he broke up with Jessica Simpson.
Tony Romo was also spotted on this night flirting hard with a blonde girl that wasn’t Jessica Simpson. He’s probably psyched to be hitting on any girl without her father / pimp hovering over his shoulder.
Jessica’s rep told Access Hollywood there’s “no truth” to the rumors.
Earlier this year, there was a rumor going around that Romo tried to dump her ass, but she whined, begged and groveled her way out of it.
She sued OK! Magazine over this story.
Are they broken up for good now? Does it have anything at all to do with the upcoming lame Ashlee Simpson-Pete Wentz nuptials? Stay tuned.

Britney Spears was involved in another car accident Tuesday.
The train wreck rear-ended a car on Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills.
Spears hit a red Ford Explorer, driven by some lady. No injuries, as far as we know - and Britney didn’t even get out of the car.
Her bodyguard got out and talked to the other woman. The red Explorer Britney Spears hit then followed her back to Britney’s home.
There they exchanged information and that was that.
Britney Spears was stopped at a red light and, for some reason, accelerated when the light was still red, hitting the Explorer stopped in front of her, causing minor damage. She is not expected to face any charges.
Fortunately, Sean Preston and Jayden James were not present.

She’s appearing on the cover of Girls Gone Wild magazine. Classy.
In a sizzling six-page photo spread, Shayne Lamas, 22, reveals details of her time on the ABC reality show. She admits that she jumped on board The Bachelor in order to seek true fame and racy photo spreads love.
“It’s what every girl wants,” she says in the chat, characterizing her fiancé, Matt Grant, as being “very casual [and] respectful of women.”
Girls Gone Wild sleaze-bag publisher Joe Francis says Lamas’ appeal is easy to sum up: “Shayne has a genuine ‘girl next door’ quality,” he said in a press release.
“And she also happens to be very hot.”
Don’t expect to see Shayne Lamas nude, though. Her Girls Gone Wild photo spread, while sizzling, features no naked pictures. Probably no o-faces either.
