The Spencer Pratt vs. Mary-Kate Olsen feud is so on! And The Hollywood Gossip staff may not have a clue which side to take, but we couldn’t be happier to sit back and enjoy the dispute.
It started earlier this week when Olsen appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman to promote her new movie, The Wackness. Prompted by the awesome talk show host, Mary-Kate referred to Pratt as “wormy” and said the following about her former high school classmate:
“He does not have a good temper. He would walk off the [soccer] field.”
Pratt, of course, just had to respond.
“I don’t really get why she’d use my name to get press for her little indie film that no one’s going to see,” he told Us Weekly Friday. “She should probably focus more on not getting dressed in the dark than on me.”
See, how can you not love Spencer Pratt? That’s hilarious!
“I know I’ve made it in Hollywood when a famous troll is talking about me on Letterman,” Pratt added. “I forgive her, though. She’s had to go through life as the less cute twin, which must be tough.”

Round two of the Rob Lowe and Jessica Gibson battle is on - and juicy!
According to court documents released Friday, Gibson - the former nanny who is accusing the actor of sexual harassment - repotedly offered sex to the family’s tennis instructor. Oh yes. We told you it was juicy.
In a sworn declaration, instructor Nigel Armstrong stated that Jessica Gibson “told me shortly after we first met [in mid-2005] that she was interested in me… She was very forward and did not seem concerned with being discreet.”
As reported by People, Armstrong described an incident in the kitchen of the Lowe London house in which Gibson was nude from the waist down and “invited me to have sex even though [the Lowes' children] were in the general area. I was shocked by her audacity.”
Heck, Lindsay Lohan would be shocked by that audacity.
Armstrong added that Gibson was displeased he would not take their relationship further, allegedly begging him leave his girlfriend and “taking the relationship with me more seriously… She would tell me that she loved me on a number of occasions.”
Another former employee, James Maclear, who was a private chef for Rob and Sheryl Lowe, described an incident in which Gibson “changed into hot pants and was laying on the kitchen floor with her legs open in a very suggestive manner.”
Both men described Gibson as having unabashedly sung the Pussycat Dolls’ lyric “Don’t cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me.”
Somewhere, Nicole Scherzinger must be ashamed their song to be used in such a manner.

Miley Cyrus still hasn’t gotten over the pain caused by her Vanity Fair photo spread.
Speaking to Billboard magazine, the singer to whom young stars such as Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez aspire said of the controversy:
“I don’t think people will look at me any differently, because they’re like, ‘You know what, I’m going to do stupid stuff too, and I’m going to make mistakes, and that’s fine. It still hurts when I think about it – but you know what, it doesn’t mean that you can’t move on.”
Amen, Miley.
The Hannah Montana star added that fans can expect a very “grown-up” album in Breakout, which hits stores on July 22.

Kevin Federline wants Britney Spears to play a major role in the lives of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Just not a bigger role than his.
The FedEx man’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, spoke to E! News in the wake of Thursday’s all-day mediation session, in which both sides were seeking to hash out a custody agreement in advance of an August trial.
“Kevin is seeking to maintain the sole legal and physical custody that he presently has,” Kaplan said. “There’s nothing magical about 50-50.”
“There’s nothing magical about 60-40. What’s magical is that whatever order is in place, it best suits the best interests of the children.”
Which, ideally, would give the 30-year-old Kevin Federline full custody of his sons, simply making permanent the present temporary order“Kevin Federline has had ustody since January,” Kaplan noted. “He wants that to become the permanent order at trial, and Britney’s visitation to be consistent with what the court expanded it to this week.”
Namely, allowing the troubled Britney Spears overnight visitation with her sons (and Maddie Briann Aldridge’s cousins), Sean Preston and Jayden James, which begin Saturday. She is also allowed two daytime visits a week.
For his part, Kaplan said K-Fed is more than happy to give the stabilized Britney Spears not only more custody rights but a chance to become “involved in their lives in a very substantial and meaningful way.”
“[Kevin Federline] wants to have an order… taking into account a certain stability and structure for the kids… regardless of whose house they happen to be in at any given moment. When the conservatorship was imposed, it brought a sense of structure and stability to an environment that was continually in flux - and in flux not a description of what you want for a child’s environment.”
Thursday’s mediation didn’t result in any brokered accords, but it did get both parties started on the right path to like-mindedness.
“The mediation didn’t result in an agreement that would avoid the trial set in August,” Kaplan said. “The mood was comfortable, positive and it was a mood that was consistent with opening at least a great dialogue.”
As for what would call off this summer’s planned court date?
“The trial in August is going to determine two primary issues,” Mark Vincent Kaplan said. “Custody and visitation, and attorneys’ fees… In order to avoid the trial in all respects, there would have to be an agreement between the parties to resolve the attorneys’ fees, and to put in place a custody arrangement that would carry forward… an expansion of the visitation. If the existing arrangement was acceptable to both parties, we would have an agreement and we wouldn’t have to go to trial… But that didn’t happen.”

While a lesser-known couple gets engaged (no offense, Uma Thurman and Arpad Busson), one of the world’s most famous pairs is reportedly calling it quits.
Madonna and Guy Ritchie are getting divorced after seven years of marriage.
“They were both very calm. Madonna told Guy: ‘I’m sorry, I want a divorce’. And he agreed. It was quite painless, but very sad,” said a source.
Might this turn into an ugly, Paul McCartney/Heather Mills-like situation?
After all, Madonna, Madonna is believed to be worth about $600 million - and there was no prenuptial agreement.
The singer has allegedly begun seeking advice from divorce attorney Fiona Shackleton, who represented McCartney in the aforementioned divorce.
Indeed, Madonna has gone from being like a virgin, to like a well-off recording artist that wants to keep the bulk of her estate.

David Letterman loves ripping on Spencer Pratt.
Then again, so do we, and there’s certainly enough material.
Last night, Mary-Kate Olsen visited The Late Show to promote her movie, The Wackness, but the conversation turned to - who else - Spencer Pratt.
During a lull in conversation, Letterman began ripping on “young Hollywood” and all the celebrities going to jail, wearing no panties, and so on.
Turns out Mary-Kate attended prestigious Crossroads School in Santa Monica, Calif., with Spencer (other alumni include Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Jack Black, Brody Jenner, Whitney Port, Jonah Hill, Cash Warren and many more).
According to Mary-Kate, Spencer is indeed “wormy” and “oily” (Dave’s words) and used to storm off the soccer field in hissy fits! See clip below …

Verne Troyer - yes, Mini-Me from the Austin Powers movies - reportedly filmed himself getting it on with his former live-in girlfriend at the couple’s apartment. Take a repulsive look below:
According to TMZ, a third party has grabbed the tape. Allegedly, Kevin Blatt - the man that brokered the deal for Paris Hilton’s sex tape - is entertaining a $100,000 offer from SugarDVD to distribute the tiny bit of nastiness.
If marketed, we can only assume the tape will be called “Mini-in-Me.”

We already knew that most celebrity gossip followers despised Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
Turns out, though, these two aren’t the only members of The Hills to be hated on.
As the MTV series films its next season in a residential Hollywood neighborhood - where Lauren Conrad has bought a house, if you count the network obviously purchasing it for her as “buying” - local residents are reportedly peeved by the parade of paparazzi.
Sources told Access Hollywood that MTV has turned the residence into a commercial sound stage for the purpose of filming the show.
As a result, residents feel the production presents and never-ending stream of paparazzi create a threat to public safety and interfere with their rights as homeowners.
An MTV spokesperson responded to the accusations by saying:
“MTV is in accordance with all required production permits, and is working with the city of Los Angeles to assist it with neighborhood concerns that have been raised.”
According to public records on the Multiple Listing Service, Lauren Conrad Living Trust purchased the house for $2,360,000 million on February 1, 2008.
And this should really be the biggest story of all: there’s a Lauren Conrad Living Trust?!?

Raffaello Follieri is having a worse week than John McCain’s poll numbers.
Following his arrest for fraud and conspiracy and subsequent court hearing, Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend was hospitalized for a severe sinus infection.
“He had an episode in the courtroom which lead to him being transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation,” rep Melanie A. Bonvicino said.
People reports that the Italian liar/businessman is in stable condition and undergoing treatment.
“I do not have the specifics on what type of treatment at this time but [it's] for a severe sinus infection,” said Bonvicino.

Vanessa Hudgens is only 19.
But the High School Musical star has spent enough time in the spotlight and in a relationship (with Zac Efron, perhaps you’ve heard of him?) to offer advice on love and dating.
“If you really love someone, you shouldn’t have to work at it,” the actress tells Cosmo Girl! for its July/August issue. “You finish each others’ sentences and have the same sense of humor.”
Following the release of Vanessa Hudgens nude pictures last year, the actress also cautions young girls who may be thinking of growing more intimate with their boyfriends.
“You have to think it through, not just do something spur of the moment,” she said. “So that after it happens you won’t regret it. I think girls can be infatuated with their boyfriends and they have to remember [to put themselves] first.”

Miley Cyrus is typically described as talented, cute and hard-working.
But might we need to add hateful to that list?
When asked about the anger-filled words that comprise new song “7 Things,” Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest that “the word ‘hate’ could describe how angry I am.”
What could possibly cause such a reaction from the 15-year old, who ticks off a list of things she hates in a boy she loves throughout the aforementioned song?
“[It goes] through all the different stages of what’s been going on the past couple years,” Miley said. “It was like a little therapy moment for me.”
Cyrus denied that the ex-boyfriend in question is Nick Jonas, but added that she wants those that have burned her to be “upset. That was my point.”
Might Miley be referring to celebrity gossip reporters that slammed her recently for explicit MySpace photos? Selena Gomez or Demi Lovato for trying to steal her spotlight? The back-up dancer she’s rumored to be dating?

Jessica Simpson was asked on The View this morning if she was gonna marry Tony Romo.
To the horror of Dallas Cowboys fans everywhere, the giant-breasted singer didn’t rule out the possibility:
“We’re still together … we’ve been together for about seven months — almost eight,” Simpson said. “I don’t know about wedding bells… but I’m still with him, so that’s a good sign.”
We’re assuming Jessica meant she wasn’t sure if she and Romo would get married; not that she literally didn’t know about the concept of wedding bells.
But you never know with her.
Are we looking at the future Mrs. Tony Romo?

Charlie Sheen may be a moronic racist.
But he still has a long way to go until he’s as awful and self-involved as a parent as ex-wife Denise Richards.
The star of Denise Richards: It’s Complicated has exploited her children further (we didn’t think it was possible, either!), by telling In Touch Weekly that little Lola, 3, and little Sam, 4, are in therapy.
“My kids are in therapy. It’s very sad that they need to be there, but they do for now. On the other hand, it’s good they have an outlet to deal with their feelings and someone who is just their advocate.”
Wait, Denise? Do you mean to say that appearing on a reality show isn’t an outlet to deal with their feelings?
Richards, ever the humanitarian, added:
“If I can help anyone feel better about their kids being in therapy, then something else good has come of this.”
Got that, concerned parents of the world? If your children are in need of psychiatric help, don’t worry: someone as normal and as grounded as Denise Richards has been through this.

Philadelphia news anchor Larry Mendte was fired by CBS amid an FBI probe into allegations he hacked into the computer of his former co-anchor.
That being The Hollywood Gossip’s favorite news mess, Alycia Lane!
According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Larry Mendte accessed Lane’s computer and proceeded to leak embarrassing stories about her to Page Six.
As a result, KYW-TV booted Mendte a few days after Alycia Lane, who was canned earlier this year, filed a lawsuit against the station over his actions.
Lane claimed that keeping Larry Mendte on the payroll at the TV station amounted to discrimination. Mendte’s lawyer, Michael Schwartz, said the newsman is cooperating with the FBI and expects to resume his career.
Don’t hold your breath, Larry.
Alycia Lane, who was fired after a tirade against a New York City cop, who she called a dyke b!tch, first raised eyebrows when she sent some bikini pics of herself to a “platonic friend” named Rich Eisen (yes, the Rich Eisen of ESPN fame) … only to have his wife, Suzy Shuster, find them and freak out. Natch.

Britney Spears was granted a change in her visitation schedule with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline at a custody hearing Tuesday.
We just don’t know what that is at this time.
The troubled pop star was looking for overnight visits with the little rascals, but details were not released - nor will they be, apparently.
Both Britney Spears and Kevin Federline exited the courtroom hearing in good spirits. Britney, Kevin and his attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, all smiled and conversed with celebrity news reporters as they left the building.
No sign of K-Fed’s Vegas girlfriend, however.
The judge in the case, Commissioner Scott L. Gordon, told the attorneys that he was “very pleased with the progress on both sides.”
“There was a change in visitation status that was ordered by Commissioner Gordon,” L.A. Superior Court spokesperson Alan Parachini said. “I’m not at liberty to answer any questions about the nature of that change, however.”
We imagine Britney Spears was granted some sort of expanded visitation rights with two of America’s favorite celebrity babies, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Our guess is that she will have the rights to overnight visits once a week - so long as they take place at her home and her father Jamie Spears is also present.
In related news, Laura Wasser is now back as Britney Spears’ attorney in the custody case. Wasser was Spears’ lawyer earlier in the case, but went and dumped Brit as a client after Spears repeatedly ignored her advice.

Controversial radio personality Don Imus has found himself in the middle of another scandal involving potentially racist remarks after discussing the many arrests of suspended Dallas Cowboys star Adam “Pacman” Jones.
“What color is he?” asked Imus, who was fired last year by CBS after his comments about the Rutgers women’s basketball team, to his co-host.
Upon learning that Pacman Jones is, in fact, African-American, Imus succinctly replied: “Well, there you go. Now we know.”
After incurring much criticism over the comment, which many view as racist, Don Imus said on Tuesday that he was trying to “make a sarcastic point … What people should be outraged about is that they arrest blacks for no reason. I mean, there’s no reason to arrest this kid six times.”
What do you think? Is Don Imus racist, or are people too obsessed with being politically correct and giving him too hard a time over this?

What subprime mortgage crisis?
Beyonce was recently spotted on the set of her new movie, Obsessed, seemingly intrigued by a real estate sign advertising a sold property.
Might the Dreamgirls star and husband Jay-Z be in the market for a new home? Might this just be a scene from the aforementioned film?
Regardless, neither Beyonce nor her character ought to consider an interest-only mortgage. It just isn’t fiscally responsible.

Even beautiful people get sad.
Heather Locklear has checked into a rehab facility in Arizona psychological treatment.
“Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment,” the actress’ rep said in a statement. “This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released.”
In the end, is there any doubt this this is all the fault of Denise Richards for stealing Locklear’s husband, Richie Samboa?

Looks like hockey player and big-time Hollywood playa Sean Avery is looking to branch out a little - the New York Rangers left wing will for some reason be serving as guest editor at Men’s Vogue in just a few short weeks.
In an online diary for the site, Sean Avery gets shirtless in the Vogue closet and dishes about his unlikely passion for fashion:
“To me it’s simple: I am a douche like clothes. Always have. I don’t watch sports. I don’t read about sports … Over breakfast in hotels when the Rangers are on the road, I read the Style section in The New York Times.”
Avery, who was romantically linked to another fashion train wreck maven in Mary-Kate Olsen late last year, has also dated myriad other celebrities.

Raffaello Follieri, the seedy ex-boyfriend of Anne Hathaway, has been arrested for Federal wire fraud, as well as conspiracy and money laundering.
The Italian-American real estate hotshot is due in Manhattan Federal court Tuesday, accused by the FBI of lying to one of his investors and claiming that he had been appointed the Chief Financial Officer of the Vatican!
In the U.S. Government’s case against Raffaello Follieri, Anne Hathaway is mentioned - though not by name, but only as his “girlfriend.”
Cops say because peeps believed his bogus Vatican connection, he was able to buy real estate owned by the Catholic church in the U.S. at a way cheaper rate than a normal developer could obtain.
Yeah. This guy’s loose morals make Diana Bianchi look like a saint.
Anne Hathaway, who dumped him because of his bad reputation and the risk of her own image being tarnished by association, made the right call - she is allegedly the beneficiary of some of ill-gotten profits earned by Raffaello Follieri.
The disreputable dirtball is also under investigation by the N.Y. State Attorney General’s Office for failing to file tax-disclosure forms for his charity.
He was arrested back in April for allegedly writing a $215,000 bad check, and was also sued over the matter, though he settled out of court.

The teenager who split up Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook apparently got herself paid by Peter - though it might all be a big waste of ca$h.
The New York Post says Peter Cook shelled out $300,000 to Diana Bianchi, his 19-year-old assistant, and she agreed not to talk about the affair.
Of course, now that Diana was subpoenaed and will testify in a New York court, that cash may be useless, as she will be legally compelled to reveal all.
Meanwhile, we hear (shockingly) from some celebrity gossip sources that the 21st Century Long Island Lolita may not exactly be a teen angel.
The now-infamous mistress beckons guys to write her on her (yes) blackplanet.com personal page. “If you wanna get to know me,” writes Diana Bianchi, “It’s cool, hit me up ‘n’ we’ll see what happens.”
Besides showing off her knockout body in a bikini, the sexy Bianchi identifies her ethnicity as “Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, White.”
Some of her interests are “Cookin’, dancing, singing” and her income is “$75,000-$100,000.” She’s giving Ashley Dupre a run for her money!

Amy Winehouse is out of the hospital - but don’t call off the Death Watch yet.
Just a few days after collapsing and being diagnosed with emphysema (at the old age of 24), she’s already back to smoking! Healthy and smart!
The Back To Black Grammy-winner was all smiles as she piled into a cab, stopping off for a brief shopping trip before returning home.
But in a worrying sign, the train wreck was seen lighting up a smoke as she emerged from facility, despite stern warnings from doctors…
Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse, told the press that the singer’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil - who is awaiting sentencing after a recent plea of guilty to charges of assault and conspiring to pervert justice (that’s what they call it over there, really) - has vowed to come off the drugs himself.
Moreover, he has been calling her every day “to help her coordinate the transfer of heroin during her next visit with him in jail stay strong.”

Disney Channel’s Camp Rock, the made-for-television movie starring The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, garnered 8.9 million viewers for its premiere Friday night.
More viewers watched Camp Rock than the original High School Musical film, which premiered in 2006. In other words: expect many more chances to rock with The Jonas Brothers and Lovato in a few sequels down the line.
